The ILWU headquarters houses office spaces on the second floor for Union Representatives, including conference rooms and toilet/shower facilities. The ground level includes a reception area, a general administration work area, a conference room and a meeting hall with a kitchen. The use of gray stucco with white accent banding and columns uses classical architectural elements to give the building a sense of strength and endurance, symbolic of the Union.
